SUTTER CREEK, CA - Saturday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m. two-time
Grammy award winner Gill Landry takes the stage at Feist Wines in Sutter Creek.
This downtown tasting room hosts local and touring musicians in an
intimate venue.
Landry is a singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist,
self-styled record producer, storyteller; roadside photographer, dark horse
painter, shade tree mechanic, and then some.
He released his first solo album in 2007 and
performed as a member of the band Old Crow Medicine Show.
As Jeff Tamarkin, an American editor, author and
historian specializing in music and popular culture put it, “Landry’s
too sharp a storyteller, too tuned-in a craftsman, too real to find
himself on the wrong side of suspicion.”
Landry's new album 'Love Rides A Dark Horse' breaks new
ground. "Recorded in a south Nashville apartment and produced by
Landry himself, the album pitches its tent in the four-way intersection between
Dylan-inspired folk-rock, atmospheric Americana, dusty cowboy songs and street
busker ballads" writes Rolling Stone Country.
General admission tickets are $20 and are available
at feistwines.com.
