Rosé Lovers gather in Amador County to “Drink Pink!” - Fri June 8

Intimate, casual evening event allows guests to taste Rosé from from more than 15 wineries
while enjoying dinner al fresco from local restaurants

Plymouth, CA (May 31, 2018) — Joining together for a Rosé evening, the Amador Winegrowers Association and the Amador Vintners Association present “Drink Pink: Rosé All Night” on Friday June 8, 2018 in Plymouth, CA.  The evening will feature more than 15 Amador wineries pouring Rosé wines in the outdoor park in downtown Plymouth from 5 to 7 pm. Ticket holders will enjoy a diverse array of Rosé wine styles, from dry to sweet wines. The grape growers and winemakers have also partnered with three Plymouth restaurants to sell picnic dinners created to complement the Rosé wine event.  Both wine tasting tickets and dinner tickets are for sale at Drink Pink is an event that benefits the high school scholarship annual fund of the Amador Winegrowers.

“We are pleased to join again with the Winegrowers Association for the second year of this fun event”, said Beth Jones, owner of Iron Hub Winery. “We expect another happy evening with live music, lovely Rosé wine, and delicious dinner plates” she added. The participating restaurants are Amador Vintage Market, Taste Restaurant and Wine Bar, and Prospect Cellars, which are all located in downtown Plymouth. Jack Gorman, Executive Director of Amador Vintners said “Tickets are selling well. Dinner plates sold out last year so it is good to preorder online”.

Tickets are $25 and include the Friday evening wine tasting in the park, a souvenir eco-friendly wine glass, and special Rosé wine events or tastings at each of the 15 participating wineries the following day.
