Simply Summer in Amador at the Union!
Summer in Volcano is full of action and excitement!
Summer Greetings from Volcano
On the Summer Solstice the full moon was anxious to make an appearance during the most stunning sunset of the year. We are blessed to be in such a beautiful region. Besides being beautiful there is lots
of fun to be had too!
We look forward to having you join us for the some of the fun.
Meet Chef Mike Hom who has been at the helm of the Union kitchen for the past year. A Sacramento native Mike is a graduate of the Kitchen Academy. He has worked at Ella and Nagato Sukiyaki in Sacramento and Goose & Gander in St. Helena. He is very passionate about providing our guests with great food and variety. He takes time to train our Culinary team on a regular basis and instill that same passion. He gets excited about food, the seasonal changes and trying new ideas. Recently, he WOWed some Vegan guests with his special creation. There are more menu changes to come throughout the summer. Next time you come in say hello to Mike and his team as they work hard to ensure you a fresh and delicious meal.
Going to the State Fair?Sunday, July 17 at 6 pm in county building B, Chef Mike will be participating in the Cal State Floral Association with a Chef demonstration of cooking with edible flowers.
