Special 5-Course Dinner at Hotel Sutter - Fri Apr 17

Amador Four Fires Dinner Series
 Jeff Runquist Wines is a proud sponsor of Amador Four Fires and will host the last of four dinners with fellow co-sponsor, Hotel Sutter.  Join Jeff and Margie Runquist for a special dinner at the Hotel Sutter in downtown Sutter Creek on April 17, 2015.  

Amador Four Fires is highlighting the four different cultures that have inspired and influenced the art of winemaking here in Amador County.  April is Amador Heritage Month and will feature the wines and cuisine of Amador County.  A special menu created by the Hotel Sutter designed to showcase our efforts with: Zinfandel, Primitivo and Alicante Bouschet.

Dinner: 5 courses $65 per person plus tax & gratuity

First Course
Blackened Catfish and Sugo all'arrabbiata
A tender flaky catfish Cajun seasoned and quickly blackened served over a spicy tomato sauce.
Primitivo 2013 – Nostro Vino Vineyard – Amador County

Second Course
Steak and Gorgonzola Salad
Grilled Skirt steak served with frisee, gorgonzola crumbles, and toasted pecans tossed in a fresh ginger vinaigrette.
Zinfandel 2013 – Cooper Vineyard – Amador County 

Third Course
Mushroom Ravioli
Hand rolled ravioli stuffed with shredded wild mushroom duxelles and mascarpone topped in a mushroom espagnole.
Zinfandel 2013 – Massoni Ranch – Amador County 

Main Course
Lamb Shank
Beer braised baby lamb shank with gremolata served over cauliflower puree and 
potato croquette.
Alicante Bouschet 2012 – Dutchman Vineyard – San Joaquin County

Dessert Course
Puff Poached Pear
D’anjou pear poached in Muscat Canelli and vanilla bean on a bed of puff pastry served with caramel and a dollop of crème Chantilly
Muscat Canelli 2014 – River Junction – San Joaquin County
