Judging at SIMI Winery - March 25, 2015

This professional competition celebrating the growing Rosé category is open to all North American wineries producing still (non-sparkling) Rosé wines.  The word "rosé" must be stated on the front or back label of the wine bottle for a wine to be eligible for entry.  This blind wine competition will be held at SIMI Winery in Healdsburg, California on March 25, 2015.  The competition is being directed by Bob Ecker, Napa Valley based wine journalist and wine judge. Wines in the competition will be evaluated by panels of distinguished wine judges.

Two categories of Rosé wines will be considered: "Dry" and "A Little Sweet."  A $50 entry fee (plus $2.74 online transaction fee) per wine is required.  The deadline for receiving eligible wines is March 20, 2015.  Double Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded along with a Best in Class in each category.
