How are the vines doing?

Our grapes vines have been enjoying an ideal growing climating. The canes are growing and extending in this summer heat. As you peek into the vineyards, one can see small, green grape clusters. Over the next few months, these grapes will continue to grow and mature into luscious berries full of rich flavors.

Have a question about vines, wine, winemaking, etc? Send us an email, and your question may appear in a future edition of the Deaver Dish.

Wine of the Month Special

Andis Wines 2011 Barbera, Amador County

With the incredible popularity of the annual Barbera Festival, June in Amador Wine Country has become known as Barbera Month. So what better wine to pick for our wine-of-the-month special than Barbera?
Not only is the grape one of Amador's signature varieties, but our 2011 Barbera is lively and bright, bursting with juicy flavors of cherry and strawberry. From my own personal experience, this wine is a perfect match to backyard patios and summer BBQs with friends. Salute Barbera!
