Reggae and Red Wine! 2011 Barbera Public Release Party
Join us on Saturday, June 8th for a fun day tasting all of our newly-bottled 2011 vintage wines before we put them away to bottle age. The day starts at 11am and goes to 5pm at the winery. At 4:30, local Rastamerican band Late for Dinner will provide the beat to start the evening as the celebration moves to the Crystal Basin Bistro next door to the winery.

In celebration of all things Barbera, three wineries will be pouring Barbera wine. Throw in some food, music and barrel tasting and you have yourself a memorable afternoon. The price is only $5 at the door of each venue, free to wine club members.
At the Alameda Vintner's Club, in Alameda, award winning wine maker, Chris Ehrenberg will be pouring his 2010 Amador Co. 2010 Barbera. Just in time for summer is his "Just Now Released" 2010 Barbera from Amador County. It has a light ruby color with a great bouquet of dried fruits and hints of cherry and raspberry tastes. 16 months in French and American oak. It Has become a quick favorite already at pre-release tastings. Very limited at only 65 cases!

Celebrated throughout the local wine world, and throughout wineries in Europe, Darrell Corti is renowned for his knowledge and passion for food and wine. In celebration of Barbera and Darrell Corti’s pivotal part in bringing the variety to the region, Renwood is offering a Barbera-themed dinner.
The evening begins with a “Meet and Greet” with Darrell Corti and winemaker Dave Crippin. The multi-course dinner features three Barberas paired with cuisine native to its place or origin, including two Barberas from Italy, specially selected by Darrell Corti.
